Laminate Veneers

Laminate veneers are thin slices of materials that cover your teeth. They are typically made of porcelain, and are almost always a cosmetic procedure. This is because they make your smile white, uniform and aesthetic. They can cover chips, stains, imperfections, gaps and slight crooks on your teeth.

Porcelain veneer does not damage your natural teeth by any means. In fact, it protects your natural teeth from further decaying as well as other damages. Fragile teeth can be dangerous, as they can be broken down anytime. With veneer, porcelain lamination is added around the teeth to give strength. With traditional veneers, your dentist will remove a very small amount of enamel from the tooth or teeth that will be receiving the veneer. Veneers are then bonded on the surface of the tooth with a special cement.
