A dental implant is a screwlike anchor that is used as an artificial replacement for natural tooth roots to regain aesthetic appearance and function of the missing teeth.

Our dentists plan the appropriate treatment after the evalution of the volume and quantity of the jawbone, the remaining teeth and the general health of the patients. Panoramic radiographies or 3D tomographies will be needed from the patients for this evaluation.

Nowadays as opposed to popular belief implant surgery operations are very simple procedures. They are as simple as a dental filling and they are also painless treatments.

After a dental implant is placed in jawbone, according to type of the bone (upper or lower jaw) and the type of planned denture (fixed or removable), there will be a waiting period about 2-4 months. Once it is healed, the planned denture will be placed into patient’s mouth.
